Anyone here used a denonAVR-S530BT with RTI and network control.
Any other receiver you can think of with RS-232 or solid IP control ?
5.1 system in a LR with two sources. Simple.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Anything with an IR jack should be better than using emitters.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

I would prefer the RS-232 for the feedback.

Yamaha RX-V series has solid IP control. The 483 is the least expensive with IP control but $100 more than the denon.

I am going to give the Sony
STR-ZA810ES a shot. While a bit more, it is only within $100 of what I was looking to do to fix the HDMI issues and even remove the gigabit accelerator out of the job. I will give the yamaha a second look too if the sony doesn't work well or if another simple setup comes up.
I have used the NR series before, but I feel and had it confirmed the HDMI outputs are not good for longer runs.

Curious why you think the gigabit accelerator would come out?: if you need 4K you need 4K? That was really more a a bandwidth required to 4k rather than a magic box to correct other HDMI issues (which of course Metra has a plethora of). Or am I missing something?
Jack Rainey - Full disclosure...reformed integrator, now mid-Atlantic manufacturers rep for: Integra, Paradigm, Anthem, Parasound, Atlona, LG TV's and Metra Home Theater...among others

It also corrects data issues over 15M. I have a Metra 15M cable in place to a GA to a short jumper to the TV. Not certain it will come out,but it would be nice.
