A pain in the ass to use. Try looking for news, any news. I site I visit now pops up a questionnaire from google before you can read the article, but wait you must watch a video first then possible answer more questions. May even be the wrong article. 1 inch banners across screen offering some app instead. Just getting old.

Anyone who doesn't want net neutrality needs to go to those websites.

Marketers are still pursuing their wet dream of measuring everything. You are just a data point of some sort.

Don't suppress all of that junk or you'll be logged and branded as anti something and this will probably be a negative point against you -- unless you are suppressing ads of offshore origin.

If a site is too in my face, the marketers soon discover that I don't need their site.

My ad-blocker works great- I rarely see an ad, but some sites won't let me see the content that was associated with the teaser I saw. Oh, darn.

Facebook is the worst what with all the idiots putting up the click bait crap.

If you have a lapse in judgement, you go to some dumb ass site that has more spam ads than story, and the story is a totally made up bunch of BS.

I'm a mod on one of the groups, and delete ads, and block users at least ten times a day, if not more.

How about those sites that have a video you wanted to watch. There are times there are no "before you watch ads." Which are of course great. Then those ads that you have to wait a few seconds to skip. Eh, I'm ok with those. Although I feel bad for some of those advertisers. Because some of them don't get their product shown in the few first seconds. But since it played a few seconds, they have to pay the site something.

But then comes along those ads you can't skip. 80% of them are longer than the video you originally wanted to watch.

There shall be some way of telling the site not to display an ad or a video that is shorter than the ad itself.

Buy a subscription to newspaper websites like WSJ, The New Yorker or The Economist.

Your issues are with free news sites. Half of its fake or useless "where are they now"..."you wont believe what a dad did when he caught his daughter at the park" articles. Another 1/4 of it is repackaged news from real news sources. Anything of any value is covered in ads.

I just want some local news. Why the hell they make you throw a video of themselves up before content baffles me. I'm already on your site. Don't you think I know who w--- news is?

I've actually swung to uBlock Origin, lately.

Seems a bit cleaner and lighter and I miss out on the content I want, a lot less often.

Give it a crack and see how you like it. :)

That did nothing. Had to shut it off to see content. Does not show up in app list either. Just deleted it from home screen. Hopefully gone.
