I just got a Yamaha system and also a RAV-2000. I am very illiterate when it comes to computers and remotes. I have downloaded RAVedit but am "lost" in the programming. I only have a few pieces of equipment and could use some help. My equipment is, RXV3300 receiver, DVDC940 DVD player, Mits TV WS65611, and the DirectTV Samsung (SIRT60) I think...(it is a Samsung but I am not sure the model number. It is HD).

did your dealer leave you hangin? id replace the rav2000 with a mx700 or 800

Why???? The Rav-2000 is an excellent remote. I cant stand Yamahas Template they pre-install, but that can be fixed...
