I'm going to attempt to control my first pool/spa with C4. Client has a Pentair Intellitouch system. I found the iLink rs232 interface I need. now its just a matter of connecting to the C4 system. I can't get a wire to the control board, it would be too far if I could.
I was thinking of using the Global Cache wifi to 232 adaptor.
Was wondering if anyone has done this / how does it work. (besides the obvious of wifi connection)
thanks

The Flex uses 802.11g and the iTach uses 801.11b. WiFi has been hit or miss with both units. The hardwired ones are way more reliable.

Cool, I'm going to have an outdoor access point with no obstructions about 75' from the pool equipment, fingers crossed.
