I am running a PS4 through an HDMI matrix switch and it keeps dropping the signal, the signal might come back for a few minutes before dropping out again.
Has anyone experienced the same issues, if so, how was it fixed?
Thanks

What is the HDMI Matrix that you are connecting the PS4 into? There are 10 brands off the top of my head that installers use on this site so knowing what matrix brand and model will help with troubleshooting

Make sure that deep color is off. We have had issues with Deep Color, and they went away once we turned it off.

That's exactly what I was thinking: deep color. Unneeded on the PS4 (or any BD for that matter) but greatly increases the bandwidth requirements.

Thanks for the responses.
I have a 4 port Monoprice HDMI switch.
The deep color was already off.
If I start the PS4 in safe mode I have a signal, when I select automatic resolution the PS4 restarts and then I get no signal. Is the problem with the switch do you think?

What happens if you don't use auto resolution but instead set it to a fixed resolution ?
