Customer has an LG OLED5586p, and cable box as the only source. The cable box is in the closet on the other side of the fireplace the TV is mounted over. The builder put in an IR repeater that was problematic at best. I was going to replace it with a Xantech repeater, and when I mentioned a universal remote was kind of overkill, he said he wanted one like in his primary home in Florida, and described the basic IR remote that comes with an Elan g1. So, I came back today with a g1 and installed it. Once I got the IR flooding on the POS LG taken care of, I then found that there is nowhere I could locate an IR code to bring up the apps. He literally only watches cable and Netflix using the apps in the LG. I had created a custom source for the apps, but lack the one code to activate the apps. Any chance of you poor souls would happen to have, or know where to find, such a code?
Reason #487 why I don't sell LG. Also, these models aren't IP controllable, thus dashing my brief hope upon discovering an IP driver for LG, including apps, done by a 3rd party.

the IR codes are out there... In fact, I posted them over a year ago...

IP control is available as well. there is an IP driver for COntrol4. No reason others couldn't do it as well.

We sell lots of LG. their IR codes have been very good on all the mid to upper tier sets for years. the OLED's look great as well.
