Client has two young boys that own a plastic baseball bat...

TV looks fine until it's turned on...

Anyone have any experience with a protective clear screen cover for a LCD TV?

Lexan. A soft cover won't help enough and LEXAN can be polished.

Or they can make it clear that the bats don't go anywhere near the TV.

It's just AMAZING, the damage that is done when the parents haven't been able to teach the proper response to "NO!"

I'd bet that a properly non-demotivated kid with the same plastic bat could destroy another of the same TV screens even if it were covered with Lexan, especially if he happens to hit the center of the screen. Now, a half inch of Lexan, with an 1/8" of space between it and the screen... that would be better.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Parents need to tie a string to rear belt loop and top of bat. Maybe 3 ft long give or take. Then let kids have at it. One good whack and done with bats

I once met a couple with a two boys, four and six. These kids were so bad that the parents strapped them in bed at night in order to prevent early morning surprises. These were smart, college graduates who held discussions with each other in front of the kids -- debating if such and such was bad behavior and if this or that punishment was warranted. Small children (I'm thinking much younger than 4-6) need instant reprimand, not a notice that there may be a discussion after dinner when the spouse returns. A small child has no concept of bad behavior earlier in the day. I also think that the parents were too self absorbed and the kids needed to misbehave in order to attract attention.

I have no idea what happened to these kids, but I'm not optimistic and I'm scared to think what happened if these kids had kids.

I had a cover made by a local company out of Lexan for a replacement TV after a toy broke the first one. They bent the top so it hooked over the TV and worked perfect.

Just to add to the underlying discussion here:

So what if they make a protective cover for the screen. What is stopping them from hitting the glassware, china cabinet, pet, neighbor's stuff, the parent... Where does the $hit stop?

This topic makes my blood pressure shoot thru the roof. What the hell is wrong with parents that won't discipline their kids? And the BS of calling DFCS on someone that spanks their child? This kind of exact crap is why our country is so screwed up right now. Why there are so many human animals running the streets doing all kind of atrocious things.

With the kids we're raising right now, I don't want to be around in 30 years. Can you imagine how bad their kids are going to be????

That's the reason I plan to retire to a place where the population is low, people don't need to be hip & trendy and they leave each other the f%ck alone WRT messing with them. Be friendly & social, help each other- just as long as they don't inflict their failed attempts are parenthood on anyone else.

Now that you mention it, maybe it would be better to build a Lexan enclosure around the kids.

I'm so with you on this. We're looking at a small farm out in the middle of nowhere.

To plant/graze, or just a chunk to live on and off of? What part of the country?

While that's completely true, this is probably a quote from something Socrates or Plato wrote back when they were alive.
