Despite the model number, I had thought the part I heard about was actually a resistor. Do they have a resistor for stabilizing dimming of very low current loads?

Yes.

Guys,
Thanks for all your input. Easiest thing to do was replace 1 of the 4 LED's with a Halogen of the same color temp. That was enough of a load to eliminate the issues with the dimmer
Thanks

Tell the clients to put incandescent bulbs back in, problem solved.

Even if you get LED's to dim, they probably won't be happy with the performance. They don't dim the same as incandescent bulbs, for many reasons, but one big one is the color temp never changes. So they appear to not dim much.

Philips solved this with their "warm glow" technology...put a 60w incandecent next to a 60w equivalent warm glow LED and dim them you would have no idea they weren't incandescent! The only difference is when it gets to like 10% anything lower and it just shuts off so it's not as smooth of an off/on...still for being an LED it's amaizing.

I'm picky about my LEDs but these are awesome!

There will be threads like this every few months but things keep advancing, so please keep giving us the latest info! And thanks.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

So far, the only LEDs I've ever seen that ramp up from 1% (like incandescent) are from Lutron. But these lights are only available for new construction and they are pricey.

Anyone know of a retrofit LED or an LED bulb that can ramp up from 1% so there's no noticeable sudden on or off?
