There was a price issue with Origin Acoustics (some dealer displaying information that they weren't supposed to) and OA took care of it in less than 24 hours. Thanks for your support.

There are many companies in our industry that give the spiel "Getting rid of these on-line dealers is like playing whack-a-mole"..."We've put extra resources into policing on-line sales"..."blahblahblah". It's refreshing to see a company that actually does what they say they will.

For fun, I just researched a company that sells a certain "protected line" for 35-40% off on-line. I spoke with the VP and some other higher-ups at a training about 4 years ago and brought up this exact business. I showed them all of the pertinent info and they were very clear about how they were going to take care of the situation. They also gave me all of the comments in the 2nd paragraph above. To this day, the offending company is still selling everything at virtually cost.

You would be doing all of us a favor if you named the company, unless they have some way to cut you off in retaliation. (This would be a possible time when having a second account here at RC would not only be acceptable, but a good idea.)

I'd rather not say as I don't want the public to think that they can get savings by Googling in-depth for this particular brand. I think that most of us know who protects their lines and who doesn't. I just wanted to thank OA and point out how different the experience was compared to past conversations.
