As I write this I called 35 minutes ago and no one has picked up yet. Im stuck in the 'your call is valuable to us" loop.

Well, if it's that valuable then how about having enough on staff to field calls. I mean, they raised the quarterly member minimums twice but they cant hire a few extra people!
WTF!

It's been getting worse and worse the last 6-12 months, but today is the worst.
F-n ridiculous!

One of the 'perks' about buying from snap is english speaking tech support, but now since it's hard to even get through, well....

Hasn't been a problem for us. On the rare occasion it's taking long, I choose the call back option (#1), go do soemthing else while I wait, and they ususally get back to me within 10 min.

Maybe they are stuck dealing with non English speaking techs in one of our heavily populated cities.

Probably trying to figure out all those HouseLogix support calls ;-)
Or maybe they are short-staffed due to sickness, vacation, or whatever the case may be.

The last 3 times I've called them in the last 6 weeks I've had hold times well over 45 minutes.

1 call for a rogue bad wattbox
1 call for the power sense 12v trigger (didn't work)
1 call for a motorized screen issue.

I don't call TS often but snap has been the worst recently. In fact I don't think I've ever waited as long as I have for TS as I have with snap in these last 6 weeks.

Control 4 has been the best for "large companies" I don't think anyone has as good of support as JAP though.

Their system automatically routes all of your calls to hold and doesn't even put them into the que until you've been holding for 25 minutes. LOL

Yes that's the problem. Took a lot of time to look up what you wrote and it makes no sense. I can see where it would tie up the call center.

Maybe the problem isn't not enough techs but, more product failures so more phone calls?

If you are running a business in the United States of America you really have no excuse when it comes to having Spanish speaking employees.

I always get a kick out of people who say "This is America, speak English". LOL 2/5ths of North "Americans" do not speak English as their primary language. Roughly half if you include South America.

English is the language of the people we terrorized and ultimately went to war with because we didn't want to pay taxes. Why are the ancestors of terrorists so keen on forcing everyone to speak the English language?

It's not as bad as saying "This is America- speak American!".

Read a freaking history book. It's not that they didn't want to pay taxes, the colonies were being totally screwed in trade dealings with England and forced to pay for military actions by GB that occurred in Europe.

Europeans speak several languages because of proximity and relatively free passage from country to country- far more languages are spoken in a much smaller area. European countries have official languages-

Albania- Official language: Albanian
Denmark- Official language: Danish
Germany- Official language and national language: German
Italy- Official language and national language: Italian
Kenya- Official languages: Swahili, English
Nigeria- Official Language- English
Sweden- Official language: Swedish

How many languages should we speak here? Who should pay for publishing government documents and public signage in all of those languages?

How many languages do you speak? Do you want to be forced to speak another?

Since you brought it up, why do 2/5 of Americans and most of South Americans speak Spanish? IT'S BECAUSE THE SPANISH WENT THERE AND CONQUERED THE GOVERNMENTS!!

If Spain and everyone else had stayed home, Mexicans and South Americans wouldn't speak Spanish. Also, try to remember Spain was on a slash and burn campaign for a long time before the first English colonists came here. The Dutch and French grabbed a big chunk, too.

My grand parents and parents came from Germany. They learned english. They did not try to change this country into little Mexico, Havana or any other. Don't get me started. Most of these countries look like shit holes and for the most part they turn areas here into the same garbage.

Careful, you'll bring out more of Mac's hatred-for-america rhetoric.
