Chief manufacturing? Haven't looked but would think that they have an articulating mount that will fit this TV.

*Edit*
Quick look on the Chief website and found the following mounts [Link: chiefmfg.com] You will have to filter to full swing mounts as I can't get the link to attach properly

Crap. I am in the same boat. Planned on using the versa mount to keep it close to the wall due to location. Stupid manual says 200x100 and 100x200.

The Art1-M says the same thing in the manual but that one at least has the alert on the product page you have to modify the mount to work with that Sony model. Don't know what the mod is.

I called snap but i take this with a grain of salt. On the model I was entertaining for this install sm-razor-art2-l (because I want a low profile one so tv is closer to wall) tech said just drill holes in plate.

F me that's cool. Didn't even realize Chief let you search by tv model. Unfortunately the available ones have too large of a min height (distance collapsed from wall). Same with sanus.

Maybe I'll order this snap one and drill the damn thing. I think it's 1.6 off the wall. (Snaps page under specs lists 1 3/5" collapsed. Really 1 3/5" lmao killing me snapav)

Below is a pic of the Snap Plate that is on the Versamount and the Art1-M. I turned the plate 90 degrees and marked the holes, since that is both 100x100 and 100x200. Then put the paper template over the 100x100 holes in the middle and you can then see where holes would have to be drilled in the plate for 100x200 (top and bottom marked holes).

Let me know how this worked on the Sony. The bottom mounting holes are very close to the bottom of the set. So in order to make sure the bottom of the mount insn't sticking out, the Interface bracket would need to connect to the bottom of the TV mount. The drawing and manual doesn't make it clear where the bracket will attach based on the 200mm vesa height.

Can someone confirm this issue is only for the 43" 800E? We're doing a 55" X800E later this week and would love to avoid surprises.

The XBR-55X800E had a 300x200 pattern. vs the 100x200 on the 43".
Bottom holes are 189.2mm from bottom of set (7.45")
