I saw in a post somewhere, I think on this forum, that you can lock out items on Sony TV's. Does anyone know how to do this? We need to keep clients from messing with settings/updates, etc. Thanks.

Here are 2 links to where you can get the necessary info to put a tv into hotel mode and or IP/RS232 control.
Second link just select a model and there are links to individual files

Are all the normal features we want available in Hotel Mode?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I'm not sure what you would define as a "normal feature" but Sony Pro Mode allows you to turn off (And back on) just about any app, Input, or function.

Tuck in your shirt. Clip a flashlight to your belt. Charge $115/hr labor.
You are now in Pro Mode.

It's a series of button presses.

There's a massive caveat in this menu in that if you set a PIN and forget it there's no way to recover it and also if you turn off the IR on the front you may not be able to get back into this series of menus...
