The more liberalism creeps into our society, the worse it gets. Just stating the facts.

Amen. Liberalism allows that people are the products of their genes and their environment, and so minimize the role of individual choice. This means everybody is excused for everything. It's not their fault. We blame events caused when people make choices on nebulous things in their background. As a result, nobody gets punished commensurately with what they've done... and things get worse.

WTF? I don't blame either of you for your shortcomings, just your age or location :)

Sorry to hear, Mike. Having kids in school, it's hard to think about those things....

I would suggest a couple volumes of critical thinking that you clearly lack, and several large bags of fiber

There isn't enough fiber in this world to solve Ernie's issues
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Maybe it's that I remembered my dose of Metamucil this morning, but as card carrying conservative, I fail to see how liberalism has anything to do with this. And as someone who's experienced what Mike experienced yesterday, I think trying to turn this into a political issue is pretty inconsiderate

Btw, in my case, it was a good ol boy conservative, who's grandfather had been a local republican county commissioner, that decided to shoot his wife and flee in the direction of the school that caused the lockdown.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

Thank, I didn't want to be the one to say it. In the end, the wife is alive, the kids are alive, and it was nothing more than a false alarm THANK GOD!!!! Wife was still shaking up pretty badly though.

During events like this, I miss the days before electronics, where events like that were aftermath stories.
