I have a project where the customer wants to add an outdoor camera to his property. I can get power to the camera location from an exterior recept and conduit, but no cabling into the house and to the NVR.

Edit: The NVR is a FLiR 16 channel with PoE.

Another thought was to have buried conduit from the camera to an exterior box on the house. In that enclosure, I could have power and an Airport Express or some sort of router in bridge mode to support the camera. Has anyone done that?

Thanks!
