i figured with such a short run with planet waves it wouldn't be an issue plus i have done it before and it worked fine. Anyway if i can't get it to work i guess i will have to cut holes and run an HDMI cable.
ARE you using the crimpless Planet Waves connector, as Lowhz guessed? You figure with such a short run it won't be an issue. When he says to get rid of the Planet Waves, he means that's not the correct kind of cable. But instead of saying you're going to use the correct kind of cable, you guess you'll have to cut holes.
Please help yourself here. Read these responses carefully and try out the things that are suggested.
Notice also that I suggested you needed to tell us MORE DETAIL about what you have, and as soon as you mentioned the cables, a person here with experience was able to set you straight. ALWAYS include details!
(edit: oops, put a placeholder where Lowhz should go, forgot to come back and put in the right name.)
