Client bought a home with this projector in it. it was installed around 2012. I dont see a network driver for it in the C4 driver list.

has sony changed the IR codes much? i see an IR driver for VW50ES but that was back in 2007ish! I can do either IR or IP!

I do alot of Sony TV's and I don't trust the Sony ip control. With c4, savant or RTI all the jobs get Rs232. I have a few jobs ip control with RTI but I have the remote send the "TV" command ir out of the remote. I would go ir

of all the BS in this industry sony IP control (ip control in general for me) has been bulletproof for me. does the PJ have IP, not sure if they did that back in 2012ish models.

Hopefully sony doesnt change the IR codes. if i have to learn them i guess its not the end of the world. On/Off & HDMI1 lol

Thanks All! Just going todo IR!

Need to remember to get those RS232 to cat6 adapters. Everything I do is IP so not much need for rs232!
