I can't get a video to embed on this site. All I get is the URL. How do you embed the video in a post?

And if you are on a mobile device, which is probably what you were trying to do other wise you wouldn't have asked...

Basically you need to be on your mobile device's web browser, request desktop version and the Share--> Embed link is there. Why YT doesn't have the above Embed link on the mobile platform is beyond me.

KOT Thanks this was the problem. On my iPad it looks like the desktop version, but is not

I think the issue is that from security point of view, there can be exploits in html code. The "embed" code for youtube is designed for web authors to insert youtube videos and not for user addition to web sites (forums). To wit in my forum html posting is disabled.
