I have a customer who is in need of a large button remote. He is 80 years old and has trouble seeing and his hand shakes a lot. We programmed a Madrigal IRIQ (similar to take control), but he has trouble seeing and pressing the buttons. I would like to not use a touch screen as there really arent many options for large screens that dont cost more than 500. I saw one shaped like a giant I, but it didnt have Receiver or DVD controls, and no learning or macros. Has anyone ever used a remote with really large buttons that could do receiver,dvd,sat... or learning capabilities and has a simple layout.

It Looks like you already found the "dogbone" or giant "I". Where some see sustenance, others see vowels. These two look closer to what you seek. (Neither claims to be applesauce resistant.)
