A client has spent some time with no remote for his kitchen TV because there are too many visitors and the remote keeps disappearing, so I'm setting up a second remote.
He's got an RC-73 controlling a C41. Batteries are new.
To set two remotes for RF control, I have to follow the procedure for setting one, then do it a second time. The receiver doesn't show the steps for converting to RF once one remote has been set to RF, and that's very sensible, but I have to convert back to IR to get the instructions.
When I follow remote reset instructions and enter 981 at the proper moment, there's a faint red blink of the LED. About four seconds later the LED blinks green four times as expected. I've never seen the red blink or the delay.
Have you seen this? Did it turn out that something was not working right?

Well, it seemed to work just fine, and I was able to set up two remotes to the same C41.
