Unlike the 1110, the media receiver for the 1120 needs to always have its fan running. Mine is particularly noisy and can easily be heard when the monitor is not on - 24 hours a day!
Anyone else have this problem?
Suggestions?

You may want to check the book. The 1120 we installed last week only turned the media box fan on when the unit was on. It may be that the fan is stuck on.

While I can not help you with the noise, I am looking for either the RS232 or IR codes for this unit.
Can anyone help.
Thank You

The discrete on/off are in the pronto files section under the 503cmx. The discrete inputs are on the factory remote. I have not seen any discrete aspect codes as of yet.

Hi

I am experiencing the same issue with my 1120. I even replaced the tv and the tuner box with a newer one and still have the same problem. The fan is running constantly and is quite noisy. I also hear a static noise from the TV which is audible when you mute the tv. have you solved the problem?

thanks
vinny

Hello Brent,

are you looking for rs-232 codes for use with crestron? I have written a crestron module for rs-232 control of the pioneer 810 and 1110 plasma displays. I also have the ir codes in multiple formats. Let me know if i could be of any help.

Thanks

I also have the rs-232 code list from pioneer service with all of the codes for service features and basic control and feedback functions i could send you if you wanted to write your own modules or using hyperterminal to control the display.

Thank You very much.
Yes I am going to use it with a CP2/STX1700 combo.
I would also like to have the .ir file as well.
Are there any cables that I send you.
Check online and see if there is anything that you need.
