Put um on Craigslist and a guy drove 1 1/2 hrs to pick them up!
Sony CDP-CX455 400 disc
Sony ES XXX-XXXX (don't remember) 400 disc DVD that I originally had controlled by Escient. Been sitting unused in my rack ever since the Escient died forever ago...
Kenwood DP-R5070 5 disc cd carousel
The CD players were actually given to me by former clients many years ago.

Cleanin house!!!

My friend inspired me. She has been selling cheap or giving away almost all of her "stuff". She is downsizing to move into a tiny house.

I wonder if anyone would come and get DVI cables, or s-video cables, etc. All still new in the bags! Hahahaha!!!

Maybe just a dump run...

We just sold an ES 400 Disc Bluray on ebay for over 800.

There are people still using Requests and Escients for large library's out there that want them.

I would assume you could of got a few bucks for the 400 DVD.

I've got a client who runs her 400 disc machine at least eight hours a day. I keep telling her that's about the only thing that's guaranteed to kill it, but it keeps going!

Bubby, please see your PM in a minute.

I think we have 5 NOS 777ES DVD changers in the shelf. I guess I better give em away. :)

Ernie, at my previous gig, we had an old denon carousel CD changer with 5 discs in it on repeat connected to the phone system for hold music. 24/7/365. I worked there for 9.5 years. It never stopped unless the power was out. I need to stop in and see if it is still spinning.

If someone wants to give one of the Sony DVP-CX777ES to a poor old man, I'd be only too happy to help clean out a shelf in your shop... :-)

I have a client with a limping escent system that the CD player kicked the bucket. Client gave me the go ahead to find one for 1,000 bucks.

That's just crazy to me.

Yep. I have an old guy who was about to drop $1200 on the last NOS Niles Intellicontroller kit we have. His much younger wife put her foot down. His still works but when I told him we only have one left he wanted to get it in case his died.

Dudes, I have the first 45 I ever bought, Kansas City by Wilbert Harrison, and many 78s and LPs I bought as long ago as 1963.

I still have a CD player and my cds in a rack. I also subscribe to Spotify. There's just something about running your finger down the stack. Opening the tray. Putting the disc in and listening to it spool up. Same with the first pop and then soft crackles when you put the needle down on a record player. Its almost like you have to work abit for the music. The music is your reward. Then you sit back and relax and enjoy.

Kansas City here I come.

Neighbor at the beach has a nice older turntable and a lot of older LP's.

Any time I've been over and he had the thing playing, I could not hear a single tick from a scratch.

Just pure and smooth....

My LP's however are a nightmare....LOL
