How do you do multiple quotes from different posters in a reply?

right click "quote" then select open link in a new tab. go to that tab, copy the entire reply box and return back to the thread you want to post in. do this for everyone you want to quote!

just as an example i am pulling quotes from different threads. But the same works for a multi quote reply within a thread! also, its good practice to hit enter a few times before copying. That way you can easily write your reply!

Also, if you want any text at all to appear in a quote box, hit return, enter a pipe (capital backslash*), add one space, and then insert your text.

Right now, hit Quote and look at the original text of this post:

There's the pipe at the left
Since the above line did not wrap around and I wanted this line in the quote box, I hit return, put in a pipe, added a space, and started to type.

If you then hit return without adding the pipe, you get this
Then this, with another pipe, etc.

Notice that two lines above sits right on top of the quote box, but the one below doesn't:

There's the added detail of how far down the page your quote box is; I like to add

one entire blank line

before the quote box but no blank line after it.

* that's capital / not capital \

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
