I walked in this garage the other day. Never seen anything like it. There is a squash ball court going above.

How many people play at once?

None, at least not in the image I saw.

The image I saw was a black screen, perhaps telling us you had linked us to your entire collection of photos. Please try again!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Its not the number of people, it's having a rigid surface. I wonder if they could have saved money by using SpanCrete.

That's fine, as long as they don't decide to store a lot of heavy things on top when they become bored with it. A single 2x4 can support 1100lb of weight, as long as it's plumb. Well, a good 2x4, not the crap from big box stores.

I noticed that. It reminded me of how years ago, there were several groups of old timers around here that were into croquet and took it very serious. One summer some of them spent months building an indoor court. It was basically a large pole barn, but with no posts in the middle to interfere with play. First snow of the winter the whole thing collapsed.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

Surely concrete would have been less expensive.

2x4 rafters, 24" O.C., laid flat? Yeah, that'll happen.

I saw photos of the carnage around Lake of The Ozarks a while back (actually, a couple of times) when they had late snowstorms and it was somewhere in the late-March to middle of April time frame. Pancaked the roofs of the docks onto all of the boats.

Even gyp-crete would have worked.

On the original photo, how would like to walk in on that for a wiring rough-in?
