Started final on a new home for a good client of ours. We had done his house several years ago and had 2 Sunfire subs in the theater. He sold that home and took the subs with him. He did not use them in his rental home for the last couple of years. They were in a storage unit. He was supposed to bring them for the install in this new home.
Called him up to ask if he would bring them over. Turns out he donated them to ARC on Saturday. "these things are 8 years old...... I will never need them." He tried to get them back but ARC says no way Jose. My guess is that someone ended up with 2 Sunfire subs on the way home from picking them up.
Brilliant, eh? The he tells us he does not need a Subwoofer in the media room because all he does in there is watch football. Whaaaaaaaaaat? But his kids will not stand for it so we are making him buy a new sub. We have an old Atlantic Technology THX 15" I think we can get rid of. Ha Ha.

Lovely. I'm trying to get better at staying calm when people say "Do we really need a subwoofer?"

While subs are clearly not the most important part of the system,they do complete the package and will be missed if you go without.
Especially with sound bars.
I wish I was the first one that touched those Sunfires!

Especially with sound bars? I need to market some type of wireless, Bluetooth, whatever the catchy word of the day is mid bass along with that sub.
