These pictures are extreme examples of what we're talking about. But these plates are just too flimsy. With the sturdy plates, you could use them to hold the outlet/switch in place so they don't move around, especially the outlets.

Now with these "unbreakeble" plates, you can't use the plates to help secure the outlet. Other wise they'll warp. So you have a choice... warp plates or unstable outlet.
