They told me when I asked it was not proprietary. Its just OEM from Blustream in UK.
[Link: blustream.co.uk]Also I keep hearing this compliant that the JAP setup is complicated but the software from JAP does all the setup for you and it doesnt seem all the difficult. Not sure what I'm missing there.
Did you guys pick up Elan and ditch Savant?
I asked one of their engineers who also trains and name rhythms with eff and he said it could be possible but not really supported. I mentioned that they should really come up with a programming utility for their controller "box" and allow access from all other systems.
I decided to do training because we didn't hit our Savant numbers last year and we had a discussion about our status. I love Savant but I also have experienced a lot of issues over the past two years and I'm cautious about the future. So we get dumped, I want to have a back up plan. With regards to Elan, I really love their intercom, door control, and more open programming architecture. It's less expensive with more features and I have never heard a compliant about hardware. I just don't like the manic programming especially in the "media" tab. Everything else is pretty straight forward... Now that they have a 3rd party driver section, newer products can actually be implemented pretty quickly compared to the past. Sort of a long winded response LOL...
