I have a customer with a theater in there greatroom Denon AVR-X4000 Sony BPS-7200 TWC cable box URC-MX-890 MRF base
Everything works fine. He added a kitchen TV that he wants to use the Zone 2 output of the AVR.No audio just the video. It was wired with a 50ft HDMI. It worked with just the cable box only and a HDMI splitter, when we put the Zone 2 monitor out of the receiver it works but would lose sync and cut out after a few minutes. We replaced the HDMI with a set of HD baseT baluns. Same thing works, but then cuts out after a few minutes. I threw in an Ethereal DAD for fun and the same thing. I don't want to take everything down to component video(the DVD I can't). Any Ideas or suggestions?

Did you try the Z2 HDMI out into the 1x2? Clock stretching kicked me in the nuts the other day and the 1x2 bandaid worked like a champ.

I will check the conversion. I took the splitter out of the system. Are you saying put it back into the loop? AVR zone 2 monitor out + to HDMI splitter + to TV?

You can use an inexpensive Wyrestorm 4x2 HDMI matrix. One output has analogue audio extraction you can use for the zone 2 amp. 1080p only

Yes, put it back in the loop- this also nulls 4K but with a Kitchen display that shouldn't be an issue...
