So this is off topic, but given that we are all captains of industry here and need new ways to flaunt our socio-economic superiority relative to those around us, I couldn't help but notice that this has been a crazy couple months on the supercar front. So far I've seen:

1. The new Porsche GT3, which is sort of my 'low end' dream car, and it has a manual option now.
2. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante, which is my 'modest' option car.
3. The Ferrari 812 Superfast, the successor to the F12
4. The McClaren 720S, which looks amazing and replaces the 650S
5. The Aston Martin AMRB01 prototype has now gotten a name and come closer to production as the Valkyrie. This one should be insane.
6. A couple other Aston Martins, the names of which I'm forgetting
7. Pagani Huayra Roadster, not a new car but a new variation that looks pretty amazing, though I'm a hard top guy myself.
8. Of course the Ford GT has now started showing up as actual customer cars, so we start seeing more of it in action, assuming they don't all end up garage ornaments.
9. The first Koenigsegg Regera has shipped now (claimed 0 to 250MPH in 20 seconds, which would be a bit of a rush.)

Once I get a little free time I guess I'll pick a couple off this list.

We have a client wth a few misc cars, one we actually took out for a drive. Wasn't a 0-60 in 3 second kind of car but almost every car we past/past us was a thumbs up or a honk. It's a 1961 Mercedes 300sl roadster, red leather interior and black exterior. 27,000 original miles and all original everything else. This thing is amazing looking. He has a 1957 gull wing as well.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

Don't forget the glue on hood scoops. That makes all the difference.

I have a client that has on average between 10 and 20 vehicles at all times. For the past 2 years, every time I go to his house, averaging 3 months between visits, he has a different Porsche. At one point when he bought a new house and was complaining about the bill for the audio system, he went off on a rant about people putting nose prints on his windows. When I asked which car, he stuttered, him hawed, and uh uh uh, "the blue one". I pushed him on which one is the blue one. Finally he sheepishly pulls up a picture on his phone of a Ferrari California. I straight up told him I didn't want to hear another complaint about the cost of his audio system.

Then just last week, I heard from his brother that he bought a Mclaren.

I have a client who has a camouflage limo with Boss Hogg-style horns on the hood. You may have seen it on a TV show.

Had to ask a client to move his McLaren 650 and his new NSX out of his garage so I could install is camera system. Dudes brother has a lift with his F430 and his custom 911 turbo in his garage.

I sent him a video I saw of a 650 racing a Tesla 100, he said his cousin was the guy in the 650.

I love this family.

The 812 Superfast is a bad bad machine, but i am biased as the proper prancing horse is my employer.

Saw this today, going to be interesting to see the other prancing horses response legally to this.
