I am getting the sense that this might be a valuable as a thread asking about which architectural speakers are the best...or the relative merits of various products from SnapAV. This is really to each his own!

Ya indeed. I guess we are all very opinionated. I'm so used to dewalt and had great luck with them. But how anyone can use that Milwaukee I posted then grab my dewalt and choose the Milwaukee over it is beyond me. The difference is stark. Oh well. To each their own.

My Milwaukee coat uses the same M12 batteries as the tools. And it has a USB port for charging phones. I've only turned the coat on twice this year, but the phone charging is still nice

I have the same Milwaukee coat and use the heat on it about a dozen times this year. The USB is nice. I have the m12 stuff for the inspection camera small sawsall light drill and driver for doing racks and small stuff.

I have a 10 year old Makita combo that I just replaced with the top Makita brushless set. Really like it.

Definatley a difference in all the brands sub $250 kits at Home Depot are meant for home users imo. The pro level is $350 and up for a quality set

I'm not Brendon, but I'll chime in.

My Festool CSX has become my primary, go-to drill / driver.  I've been at this game for almost 30 years now and have seen it all with tools.  The CSX is the best I've ever used.

My Milwaukee Fuel drivers still get used, but they are now secondary.

Brendon didn't even pay me to say that.  ;-)

I'm guessing you use it for everything but prewires? Can it drive a big 'ol lag into a stud?

I've been using Ridgid for over 11 years now, with no intentions of switching to anything different. I plumb central vac systems using a 2 9/16" self-feed bit with my Ridgid 18v drill. I went almost 9 years without having an impact driver & now don't know how I did my job without it. Also own the matching circular saw, recip saw, jigsaw, and various lights FWIW.

I used to like my Ridgid kit too.... until I found out their "Lifetime warranty" shit is a complete scam. I have a story here, but its too long to hijack the thread as I also am just looking to find a replacement brand myself, because even if its a good deal at first, I just cant support deceitful business practices.
