I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird. |

As private equity companies normally do, costs will be cut.
Bain Capital couldn't sort it out, so while the price would most likely have been favourable, changes will still occur.
My pick:
Heos is integrated into Polk speakers. Every executive in the AV world seems to think that WiFi based multi-room is the future and they need to spread it as wide as possible.
Polk will of course drop their PlayFi tie-in.
Marantz goes high end / esoteric 2-channel and it is all but removed from the AV world.
Distos around the world will have another big shake-up as brands move, more uncertainty to follow.

This industry is not getting cheaper and cheaper, we're simply convincing ourselves that we have to push the cheapest option to customers.
