Yes, it does.
This is a real time RF Modulation Encode/Decode system.
Think of it like this:
In the same room you have two displays (same or different brands) each with a connected cable box.
Even if both are on the same channel the audio will not sync at the same time (much experience with this) due to variances within the Set top box and the displays, and that is at the end of line. When you include the encode process the total delay will be somewhere between .5 and .75 secs depending on EOL device.
Add to that the cost effective nature of our M3B products, and you wind up with a product that is very good for combined 1080P A/V distribution but not for headend audio break out. For jobs that require that (or Dolby Digital) a better choice is products like the Zektor HDBaseT Matrix or IP systems (JAP).
