I love how they made this weird looking, oddly shaped unit that fits nowhere.

It's interesting that you have to search and search to find info on the actual product itself. I loved these two things:

For a great Airhome experience we recommend the Apple AirPort Extreme® Wi-Fi Base station and we’ve compiled some key tips for setting it up to make everything you do on your home Wi-Fi better.

From the "About" page:

"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simple."
~Albert Einstein

Yes, they got it right elsewhere, but somebody made this quote simpler.

edit: fixed the way the Einstein quote shows in the post.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I hate websites like this. Learn more button and click. Keep reading another learn more button. I'm over it and leave the website.

The website is beyond terrible! I did a few clicks and closed it.

agreed, after three clicks and finding NOTHING, i left the sight. I did see a coat rack looking picture. Surely that is NOT the product? Who would want that ugly ass thing hanging on the wall! One of the goals of what we do is to NOT see shit! And THAT is shit!

That's about as far as I got. I know most of my clients wouldn't want that thing hanging in a hallway, laundry room, bedroom, etc.

Is it bigger than a breadbox? Well, it's 19 in wide, 10 in high, almost 4 in deep, so it's a bit smaller.

But you didn't notice that you can put it up high on a wall, and the website shows on being mounted at eye height, which is pretty ugly.

Add to that, it gets mounted over an electrical outlet. You just put it over that unused outlet you happen to have 7 feet up the wall, or over the one at eye level... right.

Is it legal to cover an electrical outlet with the device plugged into it, such that the power cord cannot be pulled out in case of, oh, say, a fire inside the unit?
