I would be nervous to use a cable like this after hearing the stories about guys having to tear out active cables.

So you're telling us that this chip built into this cable is better than the video processing built into my television?

not likely...

I suppose if you bought the cheapest 4k set out there, maybe.. but if your buying the cheapest 4k tv set, you arent likely to spend a lot on an HDMI cable now are you?
