Ask them if they have had reliability issues. Had lots of issues with them. Why are the motors not replaceable? What happens when a motor fails and the fabric is no longer available?

If you can sell the 24 volt shades, its a lot better!

What kind of problems have you seen with Triathlon and is it with rollers or honeycomb (or both).  I've only installed Triathlon at my own house... not for a customer yet and haven't had any problems.

At my house I have 6 rollers that are used 2-3 times a day and 2 honeycomb that are seldom used.  They've been in place for over three years without issue... just recently replaced all the batteries for the first time.

Have installed close to 100 Triathlon Shades (both honeycomb and roller shade) over the last couple of years (Ra2 systems and standalone).

Haven't had a issue yet (knock on wood) outside of battery life span.

I find length of shade and quality of battery installed really effects the battery life span.

Getting around 2 years on larger shades, 3 on smaller.

We have had lots of them were the glue is releasing the fabric on the valances, have had a few dead ones, intermintent shades, and it seems like the wireless is not near as good on them as the qs wireless shades with the separate antenna. Just haven't had a lot of luck.
