Would hope the driver from training works. Are you having issues with new models or just being preemptive?

I know I recently had a hell of a time finding codes for the 40" KDL40W650D. Power ON/Off, Volume and Mute worked fine. Couldn't find any other discretes that worked except for HDMI 1.

Luckily, that's all I needed.

I just don't understand whyyyy Sony and other tv manufacturers don't just use the same damn code sets through every single tv. Doesn't it cost more to develop new IR codes?

So I found discrete on/off and HDMI 1/2
Had to learn volume and mute, but here's the kicker. Mute uses a repeating code so I had to dick around with that.

So frustrating. I also had this same issue on the 650 back in the summer, you would think the 350 and 650 would use the same codes but noooo...what was funny though was for 230 bucks this tv sure looked good lol!

I know in the URC database, I found all the codes for both the R series & W series with no problem this last year when I did a few.
Must be an issue with the C4 drivers on this.
