You'll see a driver this week. We made some final tweaks on detecting if you have a humidifier / de-humidifer and changing the UI.

Btw is been working amazing at my house. Super excited to get this released

Kevin, how stable is it?
I have a C4 client that needs it for 2 adjacent bedrooms where original T-Stat was installed in hallway's dead spot area.
I need to provide the units and integrate it.
Would love to just get everything from you if you're already selling the stats.

Hi Mario. We have the tstats and sensors instock and they are shipping. The driver is working great at my house so far. Found a few bugs but already fixed them..

That said I'd wait a few weeks before installing the driver in the customers home unless it's one where you'll have time to do a few updates.

We have a bunch of guys on the beta list and the driver has been sent out to a few of them and the update we did today will be going out tomorrow to a big group..

One of the big things I want to add is the ability to use the remote sensors as occupancy sensing. Currently we'll be able to do end of occupancy events but there is still a delay for when it starts but we are working with ecobee on an update so you can harness the motion sensor to turn lights on etc

Is this a cloud reliant driver?
Technology is cheap, Time is expensive.

Hi Rob

Ecobee does not currently support direct communication to their device via IP. So it uses their cloud API which is what the Android and iOS apps use as well.
