Ive got a UE40h6000k Samsung LED TV, purchased c. summer 2015.

I have got 5 of these installed on various projects but have noticed one of them has an issue where recently it intermittently doesn't wont receive IR commands or commands via the manual joystick on the back of the TV.

So it may power on then you can start to give it the next command eg, switch source, then select, then volume up and then it will freeze, not allowing you to add any send any more commands, when doing this via IR the red confirmation light still flashes to indicate that the command has been received, but the TV wont do the command. This is true to native TV commands, eg. number buttons, volume up / down, source select etc. As well as commands for the TVs inbuilt smart functions, Netflix, Amazon video etc..

Any ideas what might be causing this ?

In case its crops up, i have anynet CEC disabled.

If I had to take a stab at it, I would say the network functions are mucking it up. I'd try disconnecting it from the network completely and see how it works.

Maybe it just really likes the channel it's on.

goldenzrule picks up the hint you drop that it's connected to the network. What else about it is omitted from the description? This is a stretch, but it gives IR feedback when you send a command; does it give "IR feedback" any other time, which might indicate IR coming from some other place?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
