I just added a camera to an existing G System. I set it up in viewer and config. and now when I go to touch panels I see the camera name and a blue screen. If I
touch the blue screen the the camera view comes up. But it doesn't show on the preview. What did I miss?

How does it respond in viewer on your pc? The blue screen is typical for a moment or two on touchscreens.

It sounds like you are able to view the main stream but not the sub stream. Verify that the sub stream is mjpg, decrease the resolution and lower the frame rate. You didn't say what software version you are running, but that should help on just about any of them.

Keith is right on. Check the Low compatibility stream in the profile manager. As Keith indicated, this should be a Mjpg stream with a resolution of around 640. Also, be sure the camera can output both an H.264 and a mjpg stream simultaneously.

Thanks for getting back to me. It turns out the camera I installed was one that was in the system earlier and replaced by another model. It had been programmed by the company that first put it in then changed. When I decided to use it in another location in the house I installed it and it came right up. Turns out the second video stream had been turned off in the cam.
