Optical cable out from TV to Denon AVR, works just fine. Optical cable to DAC and then to AVR, no audio. Need analog in so zone 2 speakers will work. The audio I am trying to convert is from the TV OTA tuner. Analog input settings are correct on the AVR, as I connected iPad as a test. There are two settings in the TV speaker menu, I have tried both. I also duplicated the setup in my office with similar components and the DAC works. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

Samsung UN55KU6290
Denon AVR 2106
Binary DAC B-220-DAC

The Binary DAC does not decode Dolby Digital, only PCM. Have to set the audio output on the TV, to PCM only.

-just read thru the manual for you. The manual tells you the menu structure but doesn't mention what the selections are (Samsung is such a great company). But there are a few candidates to select the option you need.

Changed to PCM, works perfectly. Thank you.
