I have a WB-200-IPCE-3 and I need to reset to default- it's my personal one and I can't log into the web link, or find my master user name and password.

If anyone has the procedure, please PM.

Thanks

Pretty sure this needs to be done with the wattbox utility software. This can be downloaded on their site.

There's no way to get to that point unless the Master User Name and Pasword are used and I don't remember them/can't find them. I'll try using the other laptop, but I don't know if that will have it. They don't have a "Forgot User Name/Password button and of course, I had to try to do this today when they're closed.

What happens when you press and let go of the reset button that is next to the Ethernet port? If nothing, how about pressing and holding for 30 or so seconds?

Try both the press and release, and press and hold while plugged in and while unplugged. As for some devices, having it plugged in or not could yield two different results. I'm saying this because of my Pioneer navy unit for my car has one reset button. But different results apply when it's pressed and held for 15 seconds when power is applied or when power isn't. Oddly enough, when power is applied it's a complete factory reset. Whereas a power disconnect, it just does a "refresh" where most settings are kept except for EQ and radio presets.

Log onto any distributor's website and order a Bluebolt, install and watt box is reset.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

I have had more issues with the 1 bluebolt that I have installed than I have with all of the Wattbox units I have installed combined. Do they even have a mobile app to manage them yet? Last I checked they did not.

It didn't change anything. When I press it while powered, all LEDs go dark except the ones showing that power is connected/ground, the ones next to the ethernet port flash alternately, one of the others goes on briefly and then, they all go on. It shows that it's connected to the internet and the utility shows the correct IP address- I can ping that in command prompt.

I don't need it immediately and they replaced it with a 300 series model, which doesn't support the remote trigger or UPS link ports, but hey, you know.

Here you go...

" If you don’t have the current credentials to the Wattbox you can reset the password by using /password.cgi (ex: [Link: 192.168.1.100] ) after the IP address in your browser and using the master password from the sticker on the unit."

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked in the forum and never saw this.

It shows any Admin/user names and the password for each, which did allow opening the web page for the unit.

This is what I get for deciding that I needed to do this during a weekend, but I have been too busy to deal with it when they're open.

Thanks again.
