I need a monitor that can log power, voltage and amperage over time. I have a client that is having just to many weird quirky issues and two dead amps from separate manufacturers to be a coincidence.

This is one of those jobs that it would have been cheaper for me to write them a check not todo the job.

What is out there that can log the clients power over a certain amount of time?

Thanks!

Panamax surge protector with bluebolt can do that.

Be sure to inquire about sample rate.

Getting report of a sample taken/logged every 15sec.-1min. is worthless.

Depending on environment, equipment and criticality, you might want sample rates into milliseconds.

In the environment that I work at 4 milliseconds is enough to cause major equipment issues.

Do you go to this place often? If not, ask if they notice the lights flickering or dimming when the major appliances turn on/off- my parents noticed this and when I went to their house, I looked at the splices used by the power company at the mast over the meter, which looked (and were) old & weathered. I had my dad call for them to inspect these and they replaced all three because the dielectric compound had dried, allowing the cables to corrode. They didn't have sensitive electronics, but they were replacing light bulbs very frequently.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
