You're supposed to be talking about your drone, may she rest in peace - or in your case, pieces :-Q

Damn....got me.
Can't you see I'm trying to unload goods for a new Mavic? LOL

I thought you were using them already. I'm assuming those are RGB strips you have now. It looked like you were using Light o'Rama.
My old system consisted of about 80 channels of LOR and I was just getting into th cosmic color ribbons when I decided I've had enough. CCR's are RGB strips with each diode being programmed independently through software. Check out YouTube and the Light O Rama site. Programming this stuff takes an eternity, but you can also buy sequences (that you can modify to fit your show).
Cheers,
JT

i do use light o rama, but all my rgb strips are dumb strips with a DMX RGB controller powering/controlling them.

I've looked at using the CCRs, but they seemed pretty expensive.  i just didn't know if they required a separate LOR controller too, or they could just be connected to the LOR network by themselves.

How much are you looking to sell them all for?

They come with controller/power supply (as you might have seen on their site)
$125 each seems fair.....($250 new)
I've got around 40.

Well, after some more flight time, the autel could use some improvement in the stoping distance. Also, had a bit of a crash tonight. After flying around for about 15 minutes, showing it to some other people on a job site, I called it home to show how it lands. Then after it landed, I fired it back up and this time took off manually. I lifted up to about 4' and hovered. Then decided to fly low and fast. But, as the ground moves away from the building, it rises slightly. Probably a total rise of about 8'. It travels faster in a forward direction than it will climb. The landing gear clipped the ground and flipped it. Doesn't look like it hurt anything other than my pride. got the gimbal a little dirty. But I made another test flight to make sure then packed it up.

Sucks but at least it seems to have come out unscathed. I typically keep the drone about 8' up before I start doing anything like that. They move faster than most people realize they will. It is definitely easy to get yourself in trouble really quickly.

It just looked more impressive skimming the ground than flying a safe hieght. That was till I realized what was about to happen.

It's a sick addiction. I had a 100A sub panel dedicated for my show. My roof, which I kept clear C9's (for the Griswold effect) was 57A at 100% brightness. Yes I needed to use a LOR DIO board with 2 high current 8 channel boards to accomplish this. It's bad when you can tell where about the show is in a song when can see and hear your kitchen appliances acting funny. Sadly I never took video of my shows after 2011. 2010 and 2011 are on youtube under Tynes Christmas.

I might have 1 or 2 controllers lingering. I'll need to pick through things. I also have an ungodly amount of extension cords if you need some.

Cheers,
JT

Would like to resurrect it then. Haven’t gone down this hole yet, but yesterday at a picnic my brother in law broke out a Mavic air and I really fell hard for it. Looks like these can be had at a more palpable $700-$750 while a spark is about half that. Anybody have experience with either of these? The air was super quiet and folded up to the size of one of those old yellow Nextel’s.
