Signal Chain = Gate Side: DoorBird D20x to Pace Ethernet-to-Fiber Converter, Fiber to Rack-side Pace Fiber-to-Ethernet Converter, Converter to Ubiquiti EdgeMax Switch.

Setup has worked for almost 2 years, then stops working. Found inexplicably broken fiber lead at Gate, change to new fiber lead, test with PC plugged into Ethernet at gate, works perfectly. Reconnect DoorBird, reports "No Network," link lights on Pace Converter fall off and back on periodically. Reset/restart switch and converters, no fix.

Replace DoorBird, power supply and all wiring at Gate. New DoorBird reports "No Network." Replace Pace power supply...No network for Doorbird's 10BaseT connection. Plug in PC at gate converter, works perfectly at 1000BaseT.

Move patch cable to another port on the same switch, DoorBird works perfectly. Anyone have ideas as to what's going on here, other than a wonky port...?

Have yet to have any issues with Ubiquiti product yet but yes.. I've had single ports on other network equipment over the years do odd things. Finally trashed my last piece of Apple network equipment I had out there because of a bad port.
