iPad. Stable OS, good battery & wi-fi, large app library.

I'm using an iPad, but not for setup. I use a PC for system setup. I purchased the iPad because at the time this was the most universal tablet used in control systems and very few in my customer base use Android tablets.

By "system setup", are you meaning testing apps for installed systems?

I use an iPad, because outside of the Kindle, I can't think of a client that has anything else. Mine is getting a bit long in the tooth, and will probably buy an iPad Pro this year and give my current one to my family.

Samsung tab4. It will set up just about everything that a tablet can do, plus it runs Wi-Fi Analyzer and other apps that iOS will not run. Plus, with swype, you can compose an email a lot faster then with an iOS device.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Microsoft Surface Pro (3 version in my case.) It's really nice running Windows 10, and it's a convertable with detachable keyboard which makes it quite practical.

ASUS 10" (Android for the win!)

iPad was sooo... 2010-2015. Aren't they all unusable now, except the latest offerings pushed by Apple?  :)
