What is the best way to control Somfy RTS roman shades from a control4 system? URTSI interface is already installed. I don't do Control4l; just helping the shades guy; his control4 guy doesn't know how to integrate it. The interface has both RS-232 and IR options; does Control4 have both drivers available or just IR?

His Control4 doesn't know how to read? Or use the internet?

I bet that's a really bad control 4 system.

Yah...use the URTSI II driver and connect via rs-232. Why would anyone want IR controlled shades...you know lack of feedback and all?

I bet you're right.

If the C4 dealer has a Houselogix account, they have an updated Somfy driver that utilizes some of the new capabilities of the blinds proxy in C4's latest OS, version 2.9. I just used this driver with the URTSI II interface in my first shade integration with C4, and everything works great. As tweeterguy mentiined, you can also use the URTSI II driver that's already in the database without throwing any more money at it.

Chris, did you try the driver in the db vs the one from HL? If so do you have an opinion on that?

I didn't....I was loading up my HL cart with drivers for MyQ, Honeywell RedLink, and a couple others for the same project, so I went ahead & splurged on the Somfy driver too.
