No.

Anyone want to be able to download purchased content to the hard drive? I had a client ask me this the other day, saying they used to be able to do it with their old Apple TV. And I informed them that it would have to be really old for that to have even been possible....gen 1 anybody?

Yes, this client has the Apple TV with the hard drive built-in. Thanks for confirming this.

A hard drive that's 64 gig?

Somewhere I have a portable computer* that has a 10 mB hard drive. So there.

*Zenith laptop, but if you set it on your lap you're likely to get DVT from its weight.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I believe it is used for the apps, and probably the fancy screensaver graphics. No option that I could find to download content to the Apple TV from the store.
