Don't shop for underwear online. Somehow I looked at a kind of full-body underwear; I don't even know what to call it as Southern California doesn't demand such knowledge...

And while I was in a network training last week I opened remotecentral and saw underwear models in the spaces to the left and the right of the forum window. Oddly, there are no ads in that space now.

How is it remotecentral might have no ads while I'm at home, but ads on what I identified as a public network at my vendor's place?

Edit: I use AOL.com for email. I just went there after typing the above and a message came up: Do I want to spend $6.99 a month to pay AOL not to show me any ads when I'm on their site? Is this coincidence?

...and me, out of tin foil!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

You might be short on something else.
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Seriously, you use AOL? That's amazing.

Ever heard of an ad blocker? You can download them and they're often free.

I think that there is a need for a "dither box". One would sit this box within ear shot of Alexis and the box would spew more or less random random sentences. One could purchase "vocabularies" that would load the "conversation" with terminology indicating that you belong to an unattractive (to advertisers) demographic.

I use AOL for my personal email. Had it forever. I don't feel any cooler than I already am when I open my gmail. Heck, gmail belongs to one of the big brothers watching us. I'm sure they scan emails for knowledge too. Man I am getting worried I might start wearing tin foil hats and covering my smoke detectors next.

It would work along the lines of this classic ad:
