Starting a new commercial job. I have the Hilti ramset style shooter, no pole. Looking at getting the pole to make for a little less ladder climbing.

Any suggestions for something new?

I also saw the ComDangles and like those, but our major trunks have too many wires for those to work. In the past, we have made a trapeze out of two hangers and metal conduit. This works great, but wondering if anyone had other suggestions.

Thanks,
RR

Take a look at Cooper... they have a series of J hooks that can attach to anything you can dream up (beam, ceiling, wall, threaded rod, drop ceiling support wire, etc).

They have a metal clip that secures the top of the wires so they can't pop out of the J hook while your pulling.

Take a look here starting on page 241... what you'll need is probably on pages 248 & 249:

The largest 4" hook has a capacity of 300 category cables and they have multi-tier options that stack hooks if you need more capacity.  I've been using them for years and haven't found anything better.

Here is a link to another well known manufacturer, Erico CADDY line.

Majority of what you would use is on this page.

We've used the "diapers" (adjustable ones) for very large bundles before with no issues.

If there is going to be a very large amount of cabling, is there room to talk about pathway ladder tray throughout? Much easier to deal with in the long run, especially for ACM's.

Caddy just added many shot fire items. I just got samples of their jhooks, but have not done anything with them yet.

Graybar, CSC, Anixter, Accutech and I think even Grainger sell these.
