Getting back into Resi after a year off!! I've been in resi for over 10 years but I have a question, having an issue with DRX-2 playing 5.1 and having a set of "wireless Headphones" connecting. The DRX-2 drops to stereo when headphones are connected? Any ideas or have this happened to anyone else?

if the source coming in via HDMI is DD I believe it can downmix the 5.1 to 2.0 on Zone 2 Out so you could use that for Headphones.

Doesn't every AVR switch to stereo when Headphones plugged in? Makes perfect sense to me.

Not only that, but don't headphones being plugged in turn off the speakers?

(Also thx about the -2, I knew the higher ones did but didn't know it wasn't across the line)

Of course, he could always run the Cable boxes stereo analog cables into the DRX2 as well and then use the Zone2 out to the stereo headphones. I've done this many times when headphones were needed to be used in conjunction with the speakers.
