For one, he is not a business owner, so its possible the emails do not get routed to him. Secondly, I probably get 2 or so emails a day from them, ot to mention from every other vendor. They tend to get tossed to the side at this time of year. Lastly, I do think the company that prides themselves on being the most CI friendly on earth should rethink closing on a day that is filled with last minute installs and fixes throughout their dealer bases.

Jack is right (again). Let's all be a little more tolerant of each others foibles all year, not just during the holidays.

Nah, it's always been "Kick a man when he's down" around here, no need to change just because it's the holidays.

Fins and Goldenz, you probably want them to be open on just-another-thursday-Thanksgiving too! ;)

I work in the custom world. I just customized my schedule a couple weeks ago to tell everyone "Yes, I definitely take care of that for you.... after the Holidays" :)

Everyone knows that just before Christmas is never busy for those of us in the CI industry. No customers ever want projects finished before Christmas, so who would ever need to call tech support on Dec 23. Everyone go home!

Oh, and they are closed Monday too!

Fins - sorry, just read this. Call me if I can help. 704-749-4808.

URC tech support is closed today and Monday also, I thought it was standard.

Sucks to be you.

Working without a net. Needing someone to tell you how shit works?

;-)

Et tu Brute? I figured you'd be on my side after that will call sign. ;)

While it was on the front page, it was in an area that usually displays specials and sales info. As a tech in the field, when I do go to their site, I usually don't even notice that section. Make the text bigger at least.

I appreciate the offer. I had an issue with an NVR. But the client ended up letting me put it off until after New Years. If the security contractor had finished setting up the cameras when he was on site yesterday, I wouldn't have had a problem to begin with. I was being pushed to wrap the job up so final payment could be collected

Now you sound like an attorney. When I was in real estate, if you had something under contract and didn't close it before Thanksgiving, you might as well forget it until at least January 2nd.
